Terms of Service
This is a baseline draft. Final terms will be reviewed by counsel before launch. Please read carefully.
1. Agreement
These Terms govern your access to and use of the Hënri website, applications, and services (the “Service”), operated by Hënri (“Hënri”, “we”, “us”). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement and that your registration information is accurate.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@henriwallet.com if you suspect unauthorized access. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Group Cards & Payments
Hënri facilitates group payments through virtual cards funded by group members. Funds contributed by members may be held in escrow until the corresponding bill is fully covered. You are responsible for the accuracy of any expense splits, receipts uploaded, and amounts authorized within the Service.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service. This includes (but is not limited to) attempting to gain unauthorized access, uploading malicious code, using the Service for unlawful payments, harassing other users, or interfering with normal operation.
6. Content
You retain ownership of content you submit (e.g., receipts, notes, photos). By submitting, you grant Hënri a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process and display that content for the sole purpose of providing the Service.
7. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party providers (payment processors, KYC providers, communication platforms). Their respective terms and privacy policies apply to your interactions with them. Hënri is not responsible for third-party outages or changes.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Hënri does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hënri will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits or goodwill arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive (e.g., disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification).
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-product notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
